As Christian men, we were never intended to go it alone. We were designed by our Creator to connect with other Christian men – to encourage, support, and inspire each other in the adventures we live, through the battles we fight, and for the others we serve.
“And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him.
A cord of three strands cannot be broken.”
Ecclesiastes 4:12

Upcoming Events & Activities
- FBC Motorcycle Ministry
This is a new ministry for motorcycle riders - both men and women (age 18 & over). The coed ministry is for both casual riders and those with more serious cycle commitments. Kelly Leonard is the ministry leader.

Here are a couple of other ride dates:
March 6 -- Cowboys stadium (subject to availability). Cost will be $15. We will depart from the MAC parking lot at 12:30 p.m.
April 30 - May2 -- this is the hill country ride. We will be going down on Friday morning April 30 making our way to Kerrville TX. We have chosen the Inn of the Hills for our Hotel that weekend. Prices range from $94 per night.The web address is www.innofthehills.com. Make your reservations early its going to be a great weekend. We will make our way down on Friday, ride in the area on Saturday and come back to Garland on Sunday. Jim Campbell will lead our bible study time on Sunday.

When: four times a year, from 8 am - 9 am

McDonald Activity Center - Fellowship Hall

What: a gathering of men for fellowship, food, and fun

Upcoming 2010 breakfast dates:
April 24 - presently, we are planning to have a representative from Campus Crusade's Military Ministry as the guest speaker.
June 19 - Texas Baptist Men's Ministry will serve breakfast from their mobile feeding unit and tell us about ministry opportunities for men. A walking tour of their HQ (7 miles from the church) is also being planned.
October 16 - presently, we are planning to have a representative from Habitat for Humanity as the guest speaker.
- Men's Workdays Fall & Spring annually
Dates for 2010 workdays will be April 24 & October 16 and will begin immediately following the Men's Breakfasts on those dates.
